A wind advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 12:46 p.m. valid from Friday 8 a.m. until Saturday midnight for Northern Clinton, Northern Centre, Southern Centre, Northern Lycoming, Southern Clinton and Southern Lycoming as well as Warren, McKean, Potter, Elk, Cameron, Clearfield, Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata, Somerset, Bedford, Fulton, Franklin, Tioga, Sullivan, Union, Snyder, Montour, Northumberland, Columbia, Perry, Dauphin, Schuylkill, Lebanon, Cumberland, Adams, York and Lancaster counties.
The weather service adds, “West winds averaging 15 to 25 mph with occasional gusts up to 50 mph expected.”
