PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The month of October is closing out on a warm note with daytime highs once again above average across the Valley.
We already hit 90 degrees just before 2 p.m. on Thursday, our sixth day in a row of above-average highs. That streak will continue tomorrow as we close out the workweek on a sunny and dry Halloween, with highs in the upper 80s.
That will be considered warm for the holiday with an average high of 83 degrees. The warmest Halloween was 96 degrees set back in 1988, and the coolest high was 56 degrees in 1972.
Our busy, NASCAR Championship Weekend looks bright and sunny for all three races. The Cup Championship on Sunday looks to be warm and sunny with highs in the upper 80s.
November will start out warmer than average with dry, calm weather conditions acro
