Peoria, IL (WMBD) - The trifecta of Your Local Weather Authority is back this week and we took a deep dive on teleconnections.

We're approaching Halloween so naturally we went back to Halloween of 2019 where nearly 4" of snow fell. We set the record for coldest high temperature at 32°, the whitest Halloween with 1" of snow on the ground, and the snowiest with the 3.9" of falling snow. That won't be the case this year though.

We briefly touched on the current state of the drought. Things haven't changed much, we're still drier than average. Then we dove into the big topic of the week, Hurricane Melissa.
