The National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory at 2:52 p.m. on Thursday valid for Friday between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. for Western Chester, Eastern Chester, Western Montgomery, Eastern Montgomery, Upper Bucks and Lower Bucks as well as Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Delaware and Philadelphia counties.

The weather service describes, "West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected."

"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," adds the weather service. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects."
