BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - FIRST FROST FRIDAY MORNING: We’ve declared a First Alert Weather Day for the threat of frost Friday morning between 3 a.m. and 9 a.m.
This includes every county in our area and will impact areas from Cullman County to as far south as Dallas County. Be sure to protect sensitive vegetation this evening! Cover plants with a breathable fabric, move plants in containers indoors, or utilize garden cloches to protect plants.
HALLOWEEN: After a cold start, sunshine returns for Halloween and the weather will be chilly for trick-or-treating as temperatures tumble into the low 50s and upper 40s during the evening hours. Overnight lows could tumble into the upper 30s by Saturday morning, with a chance for patchy frost north.
