BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Crime Victims’ Rights March and Candlelight Vigil in Kern County is scheduled for Nov. 6, according to the Kern County Board of Supervisors agenda.
The Kern County Board of Supervisors is expected to proclaim the Victims of Violent Crime Memorial Dedication, Crime Victims’ Rights March and candlelight vigil event for Thursday, Nov. 6 during its meeting on Tuesday.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Nov. 4 at the Kern County Administrative Center Board of Chambers, located at 1115 Truxtun Ave.
The Kern County District Attorney’s Office and Kern County have constructed the Victims of Violent Crime Memorial in the courtyard outside the county building between 1115 and 1215 Truxtun Avenue, according to the meeting agenda.
