BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Hard Rock Casino Tejon is getting closer to opening with signage installed this week to welcome guests.

Hard Rock Casino Tejon is set to open on Nov. 13 near the Highway 99 and Interstate 5 split in Mettler. The casino is located on Tejon Indian trial land south of Bakersfield off the Highway 166 exit.

The massive casino complex will feature more than 2,000 slot machines, live table games and VIP rooms for blackjack and baccarat.

Casino doors open at noon on Nov. 13.

Phase 2 of the project is set to open in 2027.
