A limousine-style bus overturned Thursday evening on Interstate 75 in Monroe County, sending multiple people to hospitals, authorities said.
The single-vehicle crash happened on southbound I-75, near mile marker 16, Michigan State Police said in a post on X at 7:17 p.m. The crash occurred about 22 miles from the Ohio border.
Several people were taken to hospitals, both in Toledo, Ohio, and in Monroe, MSP said. Authorities have not said how many people were hurt or the extent of their injuries.
MSP said a portion of southbound I-75 has been closed at the scene of the crash. Traffic was being diverted off the interstate at Exit 20, which is for I-275. Ambulances could be seen rushing to the scene.
Authorities were working to determine the cause of the crash.
