YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- It was all treats and no tricks Thursday night at Stambaugh Charter Academy.

The school's annual Trunk or Treat event moved inside this year because of the rain, but that didn't scare people away. More than 500 people packed the building.

Students, families and friends were in costume and ready for candy. Volunteers from local churches, businesses, the Youngstown Fire Department and teachers helped pass out treats.

It's an event kids and organizers look forward to each year.

"They've been talking about it all day in school. They really have. They've been talking about this all day in school, and they've enjoyed it, and just to see the looks on their faces and to see all the candy and everything, it's just what makes teaching worthwhile," said teacher Jason Ra
