PORTLAND, Ore. — A southeast Portland liquor store employee suffered a heart attack while working last weekend, and while some people rushed to help, the store manager said one man took advantage of the chaos and stole hundreds of dollars from the store.

“During this time, several good Samaritans came in and tried to help out. Unfortunately, one man came in and acted like he was trying to help, even took Jason's pulse, when it was obvious he was patting Jason down to find his wallet," said Bins & Barrels manger Michelle Maurer.

Security camera footage from Bins & Barrels shows a man with a black jacket and red hoodie, appearing to assist Hay, who had collapsed behind the register.
