LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville’s most popular street for Halloween festivities is gearing up for another busy year, but with some changes from past years.
Hillcrest residents told WAVE they’re used to seeing three or four thousand trick-or-treaters every year, and are expecting even more this year with Halloween falling on a Friday, and with the street being closed off for the first time.
While residents may disagree on that change, they all agree that they want visitors to have fun and be safe.
“It’s work, but it’s fun,” said Thomas Rogers, who helps run a photo booth at his sister’s and brother-in-law’s house.
Rogers said he’s helped run the booth since 2009.
