COTTLEVILLE, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Russell Ball has lived in the Cottleville Trails subdivision for a year and a half.

“Love it, incredible neighborhood, people here are so good,” he said. “We’ve made a lot of new friends so we’re really enjoying it. ”

He said he is worried the peace he found might be disturbed with potential road construction.

“It sounds like it’s going to make an impact on our neighborhoods we’re not really in favor of,” Ball said.

The city of Cottleville will decide whether to allow the subdivision’s developer to proceed with plans to build additional townhomes near Cottleville Trails Drive or leave the area untouched for a possible connecting road between Highway N and Gutermuth Road.

There is no timeline for the construction of a possible connecting road.
