MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Starting late Friday morning, southern Wisconsin will see a change in our weather pattern as Halloween approaches. Mostly cloudy skies will prevail throughout the day, with scattered showers developing in the afternoon hours.

Northwest winds are expected to increase to around 10 to 15 mph on Friday morning and remain steady throughout the day. These breezy conditions will help usher in cooler air, with high temperatures only reaching the low 50s. By evening, temperatures will drop into the mid to low 40s within just a few hours after sunset.
