ATLANTA — OutKast and Cascade Skating Rink are two iconic names in the city of Atlanta. Both stepped onto the scene in the year 2000; one defined the city's sound and style through music, and the other provided a place to enjoy it.

Now, 25 years later, the city is honoring the artistry of OutKast, whose vision, sound, and innovation redefined Southern hip-hop with their Grammy-winning album Stankonia.

Greg Alexander, the owner of Cascade, wanted to create a place for families to make memories. He spoke with 11Alive's Danielle Nottingham about how the music the iconic duo was making was perfect for those who wanted to take a spin in the rink.
