BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - A First Alert is in effect as a low pressure system crosses over the state today. We are starting out with steady rain which will become scattered showers later this morning. Scattered showers will continue through the afternoon, evening and overnight. There is also a breeze this morning that will stick around today. The wind direction will shift, but gusts between 25-35 mph will persist through the day. Trick-or-treaters can expect mostly cloudy skies with the chance of a shower or two and breezy conditions.

As mentioned, the wind and scattered showers will continue overnight. Lows won’t be too chilly with most areas staying in the 40s. Winds will gusts to 35 mph.
