CLEVELAND, Ohio – Heroes in Harmony: The Cinematic Symphony Orchestra is set to honor veterans at Severance Music Center this month.
The orchestra’s performance is on Veterans Day – Tuesday, Nov. 11. The program includes music from “Saving Private Ryan,” “Band of Brothers,” “Glory,” “Gettysburg,” “The Patriot,” “Platoon,” “Forrest Gump,” “Pearl Harbor” and others.
The concert also will feature members of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Band.
The 101st Airborne Division has been associated with distinguished service, including D-Day landings in World War II and the Battle of Hamburger Hill during the Vietnam War. It also inspired the book and mini-series “Band of Brothers” and the movie “Saving Private Ryan.”
Chief Warrant Officer 2 Martin Johnston will conclude the program
