COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Caden Curry isn’t being talked about this season. Perhaps that changes on Saturday against an opponent that isn’t foreign to the concept of being used as a ragdoll by Ohio State defensive linemen.

Somehow Curry has flown under the radar despite racking up 34 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, a pass breakup, a fumble recovery and 27 pressures in 296 snaps this season. That’s the type of stat line that probably deserves the type of national recognition where we can at least float the idea of him being a Heisman Trophy candidate as a defensive player.

At least that was the case when Chase Young put up these types of numbers six years ago. Seven games into the 2019 season, Young had recorded 23 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, three forced fumbles,
