PORTLAND, CT (WFSB) - Police in Portland said they learned of a potential street takeover in town planned for Halloween night.

They said their information indicated that a group of young people have been arranging the takeover in the industrial park area of town.

“This area has direct access to the Arrigoni Bridge, allowing easy access in and out of the town,” police said in their report.

They asked anyone with information about the potential takeover to give them a call.

“This activity is not only illegal, but also dangerous and will be taken seriously, up to and including the arrest of parties involved and the towing of vehicles,” police said.
