Authorities believe high schoolers from multiple area towns are planning a street takeover in Portland on Halloween night.

The “large planned gathering” was believed to be taking place in an industrial park near the Arrigoni Bridge, according to Connecticut State Police and the Portland Police Department .

Police said the bridge would allow for easy access in and out of town.

The takeover was believed to be planned by students from a number of schools, including Haddam-Killingworth High School, Coginchaug Regional High School, Vinal Technical High School and others, police said.
