DISCUSSION: After a cold start to our Halloween, temperatures will climb to near 70° this afternoon with plenty of sunshine. For trick-or-treating this evening, temperatures will likely be in the 50s across much of East Texas. Later tonight, clouds will begin to increase, leading to mostly cloudy skies by early Saturday morning. A few showers will be possible on Saturday, especially across the northern half of the area. By Saturday night, skies will clear and any rain chance will come to an end. Into next week, temperatures will start to warm up, back into the 70s to near 80 with plenty of sunshine.
