It should stay dry as a storm moves out of the area, but a wind advisory is in effect in Delaware and surrounding states for Halloween on Oct. 31.
Strong winds are expected today in the wake of the departing storm that dropped up to 3 inches of rain in parts of the region this week.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph in Delaware
Gusts of 40 to 50 mph will blow around unsecured objects and may down tree limbs, potentially resulting in a few power outages across the region, according to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
Wet ground and remaining foliage on trees may heighten the threat of tree damage, the weather service said.
In Delaware, wind gusts are expected to be 45 and 50 mph for nearly all of the First State.
