INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis metro police have arrested a man for his alleged role in two separate shots fired incidents on the city's northeast side.

Detectives have arrested 19-year-old Maurice Sanders after a person was was struck when shots were fired into a home in August. Police initially began investigating Sanders on Aug. 26 when officers responded to the 3800 block of N. Sherman Drive for a possible burglary. While officers were en route, they learned that multiple shots had been fired into a home. Detectives later found a man suffering from a graze wound.

Aggravated assault detectives spoke with several witnesses while responding to the scene. They learned that officers had responded to the same residence four days before to investigate a shots fired incident. In that instance,
