The Arizona State Board of Education has released school letter grades for the 2024-25 school year.
Peoria Unified School District, with 44 schools spanning across the city, as well as in Glendale, received an overall grade of B.
All seven high schools received an A except for Raymond S. Kellis, which received a B.
Most of the 32 elementary schools received As or Bs.
Five elementary schools received Cs.
No Peoria Unified schools received a D or F.
PUSD Spokesperson Danielle Airey noted that Sahauro Ranch Elementary School raised their letter grade from a C to an A in three years.
“This takes a tremendous amount of focus and dedication from our students, teachers and staff to achieve these results and we’re incredibly proud of their efforts,” she said.
