Brockville police on Thursday arrested a woman in an attempted theft incident at a Hydro One property.

Police were called at around 4:45 a.m., about a suspect who had broken into the fenced yard of the Hydro One facility on Front Avenue, and was inside the property, police said Friday.

Officers found a 34-year-old woman inside the facility.

“The subject was in possession of multiple power tools and a chainsaw. She was arrested and the stolen property was recovered. It was then learned that the subject was on three different probation orders with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour,” said police.
