BOISE, Idaho — A spook-tacular street celebration is set to bewitch Harrison Boulevard once again this Friday, as thousands of costumed trick-or-treaters prepare to haunt the area.
The Ada County Highway District announced Harrison Boulevard will transform into a pedestrian paradise starting at 4 p.m., when crews close the stretch between Hill Road and Hays Street to vehicle traffic. Setup for the annual Halloween on Harrison event begins around 3 p.m.
The street closure will remain in effect until approximately 10 p.m., allowing pint-sized vampires, princesses and superheroes to safely canvass the neighborhood for candy without dodging traffic.
