LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan Republican Congressman Tom Barrett is speaking out after a protest outside his Lansing office, saying it was “vandalized by a group of trespassers during a political rally of political left-wing activists.”

Thursday afternoon the groups Michigan Families for Fair Care, Sierra Club Michigan and Climate Action Campaign gathered outside his office to protest several policies that have been implemented under the Trump administration.

The protest was promoted on the groups’ social media pages, including the Sierra Club promoting it as “Barrett’s Tricks for People & Treats for Big Oil Block Rally.”
