PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder two weeks after police say he shot a person in southeast Portland.
Portland Police responded to a shooting call near SE 157th Ave and SE Powell Blvd at 8:18 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man in a nearby parking lot who had been shot several times. The man is still in the hospital but is expected to survive, according to PPB.
PPB says investigators identified the shooting suspect as Michael Anthony Howard, Jr., 43, of Portland.
At around 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, detectives served a search warrant in Portland’s Hazelwood neighborhood and arrested Howard.
Howard has been booked into the Multnomah County Jail on several charges:
