BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Muddy Water Blues is a fun and interactive event that teaches contractors and others in attendance on how to follow jobsite standards in a variety of ways.

One main topic of the event is erosion and sediment control, which is necessary to manage in order to prevent pollution and bad water quality in the state.

Environmental Compliance Coordinator for the City of Bowling Green Courtenay Howell describes the negative impact sediment can have when it gets into waterways.
