RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Not only is it Friday, but it is also Halloween. That has businesses along Glenwood Avenue preparing for one of the busiest nights of the year.

“We’re expecting a huge rush tonight. It's going to go on all night, but we're excited for everybody to come out,” Dan Satut, manager at Raleigh Beer Garden.

Satut said the business spent at least one week preparing for Halloween night.

“I think people will be getting out here very early in their costumes for the next three days. After that, we have the marathon on Sunday. The whole weekend will be a very busy weekend.”

Satut is expecting around 2,000 people to walk in and out of their doors Friday night. As for the entire strip of Glenwood, he expects thousands of people to flood the street.
