PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- When asked about his interest in leaving Oregon, Ducks coach Dan Lanning said it's "zero."

"I'm not leaving Oregon." Lanning shared on the Rich Eisen Show on Thursday afternoon. "As long as I win, that’s what I always tell my kids. If your dad wins, we’ll be at Oregon. So I’ve got to win. That’s how it changes.”

The 39-year-old is in his fourth year at Oregon and has a 42-7 overall record.

He told the host Eisen of the recent firings around the country makes him "grateful for where I’m at, recognizing how fragile and special it is. It motivates you to keep working hard because you realize how temporary things can be if you’re not moving in the right direction."

The Ducks are on a bye week before heading to Iowa on Nov 8.
