PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman died after being involved in a crash with a car while riding an e-scooter in North Portland last week, authorities said.
Portland resident Alicia M. Long, 41, died on the afternoon of October 23 at the hospital, the day after she was in the crash, Portland police said.
"On Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 1:45 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct were on patrol, southbound on North Vancouver Avenue turning east on North Weidler Street, when they saw a Lime electric scooter rider proceeding on westbound Weidler Street against the one-way traffic.
