CLINTON TWP. – Reagan Lesley remembers her first kill on the volleyball court.

It came her freshman year in August of 2022.

“It was against Warren Woods-Tower. I tipped it over the net,” laughed Lesley, now a senior at Clinton Township Chippewa Valley. “I was excited. But I didn’t think it would be all that significant. I do remember it, though.”

Actually, it is significant. It was the first building block in a long record-breaking effort that took nearly four seasons to break.

Lesley, a talented, long-armed and athletic 5-foot-9 outside-hitter, is now one of the best volleyball players in school history, where Chippewa Valley started its girls volleyball program back in the mid-to-late 1970s. She recently set the school’s career kills record at the Chippewa Valley Tournament on oct. 2
