With the government shutdown now in its fifth week, the Trump administration has halted November payments to states for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). It's a decision that impacts 440,000 people in Minnesota, 152,000 of whom are children.

To help ease the increased burden for families, the Minnesota Children's Museum has announced that it will offer free admission throughout November to families enrolled in the program.
