COLUMBUS, Ohio — A juvenile was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle Friday night in Pataskala, according to a Licking County dispatcher.

The crash happened around 9:25 p.m. in the 13900 block of East Broad Street near the Haunted Hoochie.

A Pataskala police sergeant at the scene told 10TV that a group of people was walking on the side of the road when one juvenile was hit by a car.

The dispatcher said the juvenile was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.

The driver of the car stayed at the scene.

No additional details about the crash were immediately available.

The Licking County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
