It’s November already! This month, we will be taking a look back on November of 2005 – 20 years ago. While I prefer looking back a bit farther into our county’s history, this era is also always fun for me because I was working as a full time reporter for the newspaper at that time.

So what was happening in town two decades ago? Quite a bit, and not all of it was good news. With the holidays approaching, many Crane Plumbing employees were losing their jobs. Another major employer in town, Oakwood, was in hot water, and many were hoping that new management would turn the tide.
