Economist Paul Krugman made an observation about the Project 2025 plan, much of which was foisted on the American public in the form of the Big Ugly Bill.

The plan, says Krugman “was to mask the true harshness of this agenda by delaying much of its cruelty, with the worst effects not hitting until after the midterms. Instead, severe nutrition and health care crises are happening right now.”

The federal food program known as SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) shuts down immediately. Of the 42 million people who receive these benefits, the majority are children, the disabled and the elderly.
