AUSTIN, Texas — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a ground delay for Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Sunday.

According to the FAA, the delay began Sunday morning and impacted incoming flights. The delay was lifted sometime before 5 p.m.

The average incoming flight delay time was 38 minutes. The reason for the delay was unclear, as it was listed as "other" by the FAA.

Airport officials continue to urge travelers to check flight statuses and contact airlines for updates. Sunday's delay marked the fifth ground delay at ABIA since last month, and the second one in three days after a ground delay was issued on Friday .
