Cambridgeshire is home to a unique double bridge at the point where two counties meet. The historic structure near Parson Drove is both a bridge and sluice, and was built in the 1830s for drainage in the Fenlands.
Nowadays, Clough's Cross Bridge is also a connecting point between the counties of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. You can stand halfway across the bridge and have a foot in each county.

The bridge works were overseen by Sir John Rennie and civil engineer Thomas Pear III of Wisbech. Major ref
