FARGO, N.D. (KFYR) - Artificial Intelligence is getting so real, that they are offering classes in it at NDSU.

The school launched a fully online undergraduate certificate in human factors in AI. It can be completed in less than 2 years and requires 12 credits.

The online format allows for flexibility, and teaches versatile skills that can be applied to various jobs in a future forward fashion.

“The best combination is to focus on what the technology is good at, and what people are good at. And work together in that way to sort of provide solutions that might go beyond what either could do by itself,” said David Westermann, Associate Professor of Communication at NDSU.

Some of the classes include ‘AI and language modeling’ and ‘understanding media and social change’.
