CHICO, Calif. - Downtown Chico was bustling with excitement on Friday afternoon as the annual Treat Street event brought crowds of trick-or-treaters from the local community to the area.
Local shops opened their doors to the community, eager to give back and connect with residents.
Trent Walsh, the owner of Bat Comics and Games, has participated in Treat Street since its inception. He shared with Action News Now his enthusiasm for the event.
"We actually did the first one and every one since then. It definitely brings in a lot of younger kids and their families. We personally always participated because it's a way to get exposed to the community and the community exposed to us," Walsh said.
