(KFVS) - Today is starting off cold and foggy for some.
Wake-up temperatures are in the mid-30s.
Some frost and light freezing is possible in some locations.
Patchy, dense fog is also possible this morning, with more widespread fog likely Tuesday morning.
A dense fog advisory is in effect for several counties until 8 a.m., especially the Cumberland River and Lake Barkley areas.
Visibility of a quarter mile or less is likely.
This afternoon and much of this week will be sunny and slightly warmer with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.
A pattern shift arrives on Friday with a cold front.
This front will increase the chance for showers and thunderstorms.
An even stronger front is set to arrive on Saturday, continuing thunderstorm chances Saturday evening.
