NEW YORK —
"Good Morning America" made its debut 50 years ago, and it’s been part of America’s daily routine ever since.
From the very first broadcast with host David Hartman in November 1975 to today’s team led by Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Michael Strahan, "GMA" has given viewers a front-row seat to history and made them laugh before they poured that first cup of coffee.
“It’s a privilege every morning to get up here and say good morning to the whole country,” Stephanopoulos said. “I can’t believe it’s been 50 years and that we’ve been here for about half of those 50 years.”
The team recently moved into "GMA’s" new home at 7 Hudson Square in Lower Manhattan, a state-of-the-art facility where the entire ABC and Disney family works under one roof. A few floors up from the
