Information reaching this publication indicates that students at Soche Technical College in Blantyre have today begun a strike to pressure the college authorities into addressing concerns over poor food quality and other campus issues.

Some students told reporters that for weeks they have been served uncooked Nsima and improper relish, yet their complaints to college management have gone unaddressed.

Today, the students gathered at the college offices, where authorities promised to look into their grievances.
