COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - High pressure will be in control through the workweek meaning all the sunshine will eventually warm us up during the day while the late nights and early mornings will be cool or chilly.

Patchy morning fog at first Monday with temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Otherwise, it will be sunny and a bit breezy. Highs climb into the mid and upper 60s during the afternoon.

Clear and chilly Monday night. Lows early Tuesday mostly in the low 40s; a few of the coolest spots will be in the upper 30s.

Sunny and warmer Tuesday afternoon with highs in the low to mid 70s.

We’ll keep the warming trend going the rest of the workweek as highs climb into at least the mid and upper 70s. The warmest spots may actually hit 80 degrees.
