WILLIMANTIC, CT (WFSB) - Willimantic police said they were looking for the guardians of a 3-year-old girl.

They posted to social media Monday morning that the parents were later located.

The girl was found walking in the area of 147 Valley St. on Monday morning.

Police said she was safe at the Willimantic Police Department.

Officers canvassed the area and ultimately found the parents.

There’s no word if they will face any charges.
