A father and son who spent Saturday nights the past two summers racing motorcycles spent last Saturday in the spotlight, not on the track.

Justin Crumb and his seven-year-old son, Revvn, each received a championship plaque during Welland County Motorcycle Club’s awards banquet after pacing their respective racing divisions in points this year.

Crumb, 36, set the pace in Vintage Open, while Revvn lived up to his name, revving up his bike and outracing the competition for the 50 cc, Shaft Drive title at the quarter-mile clay track.

They were also among the top also-rans in other racing classes at Welland County Speedway. The elder Crumb, with 111 points; trailed only Adrian St. Amand, 127; in Open Intermediate, and Chris Evans, 23-20; in 750 cc; Revvn’s 101 points were enough for a third-
