RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - It’s that time of year again when clocks “fall back,” granting most of us an extra hour of sleep.
While that added shut-eye is a welcome bonus, the shift in daylight saving time also brings important considerations for road safety, particularly as evenings grow darker earlier.
Resetting our clocks is often the easiest part, but resetting our bodies and driving habits can be a bit tougher.

“It’s a great thing we get an extra hour of sleep. I think it is the more preferred end of things compared to the spring, where we spring forward and lose that hour, but we’re also out of sync,” Dean said .
