LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Louisville's downtown library could be closed for up to a year.
Mayor Craig Greenberg announced Monday that the Louisville Free Public Library’s main branch on York Street will completely close on Dec. 1 for renovations.
He said it's not safe to renovate with the library open.
Greenberg is announcing different hours and accommodations during the closure. This story will be updated with that information.
