YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Tuesday is Election Day, and the man in charge of elections in Ohio has a reminder for those who are choosing to vote early.

According to Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, there have been roughly 300,000 early absentee ballots cast across the state over the last four weeks. However, that leaves about 70,000 that were sent to residents who requested them but have not yet returned the ballots to their local Boards of Elections.

"They've got until closing of polls on Tuesday, Election Day, to get those ballots into the Board of Elections, or they can mail them today, Monday, but they've gotta be postmarked by today and so that maybe running a risk if you don't get 'em in today's mail, but they gotta be at the Board of Elections before the close of polls tomorro
