The Met Office has warned of "probable flooding" in some parts of the UK as two severe weather warnings for rain have been issued.

Coming into effect at 12pm on Tuesday, November 4, the first yellow rain warning is set to affect parts of south west England and Wales until 6am the following morning (Wednesday, November 5).

The Met Office warning states: "Early rain is expected to turn heavier, more persistent and more widespread during Tuesday afternoon, before easing early on Wednesday."

Some of the areas set to be affected by the Met Office yellow rain warnings includes Devon, Cornwall, Swansea, Caerphilly, Carmarthenshire, and Newport, among others.

A second warning for rain is set to come into effect at 12am on Tuesday, remaining in place until 11am the same day
